MANAGEMENT TEAM Khawer Ali Principal Mr. Ali is a principal and founding member of KJ Aviation Services. Prior to KJ Aviation, Mr. Ali was a Director and Head of the Aviation practice in the Global Transportation Group of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. Mr. Ali focused on providing investment banking services to airlines, air cargo carriers, airframe manufacturers, and leasing companies. Prior to moving to the Global Transportation Group at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Mr. Ali headed the Equipment Finance Securitization practice as a member of the Global Structured Finance Group. Prior to joining Alex. Brown, Mr. Ali worked in Corporate Finance for United Airlines where he completed over $5 billion in aircraft related financing, including new aircraft purchases, aircraft leases and capital markets transactions. Prior to joining United, Mr. Ali served as a commercial airline pilot for PanAm commuter and Bar Harbor Airways. Mr. Ali has a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA (Honors) from Columbia Business School. Mr. Ali is a FAA certified Airline Transport Pilot. Prior to KJ Aviation, Mr. Rosen was the President and Chief Operating Officer of ComJet Aviation Management, and the Executive Vice President, General Counsel at his prior company Aviation Investors International. Prior to joining Aviation Investors, Mr. Rosen was the Senior Vice President, General Counsel of Sentry Financial Corporation, a commercial finance company and institutional funds manager. Prior to Sentry, Mr. Rosen’s was a founding partner in the New York City law firm of Hasen, Wistendahl, Rosen & Cusano where Mr. Rosen specialized in representing financial institutions and lessors in aircraft financing and leasing transactions. Major clients included Concord Leasing, the aircraft leasing unit of HSBC. Mr. Rosen has also been an author, lecturer and panelist for the Equipment Leasing Association, the American Bar Association and Cornell University on matters of current interest in equipment leasing and finance. Mr. Rosen has a BS from Cornell University and a law degree from Emory University School of Law. Mr. Rosen is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Utah State Bars.
